We are looking for business administration students to join us as legal assistant trainees. As this is a trainee position, we do not expect you to know everything, but to ensure that you will be able to succeed in your duties, you should be fluent in Finnish and English and have good IT skills. Attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to take initiative will also be helpful in this position. However, what we value the most is a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Working as legal assistant trainee at Hannes Snellman has been an incredibly diverse and rewarding learning experience. I have had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks, take on responsibility, and learn a great deal. The best part has been the supportive team and the fact that trainees are genuinely included in the day-to-day work and life of the team. - Kaisa, legal assistant trainee
What We Offer
- A full-time traineeship for approximately six months starting in March 2027
- A learning experience on the work of a legal assistant while working alongside experienced legal professionals

- Continuous training, including our internal HS Academy lectures and regular mentoring on a variety of topics

As a legal assistant trainee, your duties will include email and calendar management, document management with MS Office programmes, helping with project administration, organising meetings and events, proofreading, and substituting for your assistant colleagues, to name a few examples.
At Hannes Snellman, we cherish a sense of community, and we will do our best to make you feel part of the team from day one. Our employees have different backgrounds and personalities, but we all share the same values: a commitment to provide high-quality services and a passion for what we do.
